Soho House Group is to open its second Cecconi's restaurant next Monday (23 February) in Los Angeles, after hosting a series of Oscar parties in the days leading up to the launch.
The Italian restaurant, on the site of the iconic Morton's in West Hollywood, follows the model of the original in London's Mayfair, which Soho House has owned since 2004.
It features a 24-seat bar, a restaurant for up to 60 people with a private dining room for up to 14, and a terrace that can accommodate up to 52.
Soho House executive chef Andrea Cavaliere, who oversees Cecconi's in London, will work at the LA restaurant alongside head chef Mirko Paderno, during the opening period. The general manager is Shelley Armistead.
Mark Somen, Soho House's US director of operations, has spearheaded the project alongside chief executive Nick Jones.
Cecconi's in LA has been designed by Martin Brudnizki, whose CV includes Scott's, The Club at The Ivy, Corrigan's Mayfair and St Pancras Grand.
