London's Globe restaurant closes after nine years

North London eatery Globe Restaurant has closed after nine years.

The Swiss Cottage-based restaurant, which was famous for its drag cabaret performances, shut earlier this month.

Owner Neil Armishaw said the closure was ‘"a huge and very emotional decision" to make both for him and his staff.

"Having created and built Globe up over nine years, I have always felt it was somewhat of my ‘baby' both in good and bad times therefore, as you can imagine, the loss I am feeling is great," he said.
