Chefs join forces for Action Against Hunger charity dinner at Borough Market

Some of London's leading chefs will be gathering at the capital's Borough Market in July to cook up a feast for the annual Auction Against Hunger event.

Chantelle Nicholson of Tredwells, James Lowe of Lyle's, Adam Handling of the Frog, Anna Hansen of the Modern Pantry and Nieves Barragán Mohacho of Sabor will be among the brigade which is set to join forces with a number of bars and street traders to create the "world's greatest menu", featuring dishes specially created for the event.

Guests will be able to enjoy seven dishes and five drinks from the available choice, alongside unlimited snacks from the traders. Champagne Taittinger will host Taittinger Time: a Wheel of Fortune style game, where guests can win a glass, bottle or Magnum.

There will also be a live and silent auction of food and drink experiences hosted by Tom Best, Christie's youngest ever auctioneer.

Now in its sixth year, Auction Against Hunger has raised over £500,000 during its history.

The event is organised by Action Against Hunger, the charity which helps to save the lives of malnourished children, ensures families can access clean water, and supports families in the fight against hunger. All proceeds go directly to Action Against Hunger.

Tickets for the dinner on 22 July cost £60 per person and can be purchased here.
