Almost 60 firefighters were called to the scene of a blaze in a Steak & Co restaurant in London's Haymarket this morning.
London Fire Brigade tweeted a picture of firefighters at the scene after being called at 8.10am.
Three people left the property, which also contains offices, before the brigade arrived and seven were evacuated by firefighters.
A spokesperson for London Fire Brigade said this morning: "Part of the restaurant's ducting, which is the ventilation system, is alight and parts of the first and second floor are on fire."
At 3.30pm this afternoon firefighters remained at the scene damping down hotspots,
There are no reports of injuries.
Firefighters from Soho, Lambeth, Islington, West Hampstead, Stoke Newington and Euston battled the blaze.
