The luxury Aberdeen hotel said Walker had left “through mutual agreement”.
Peter Walker has stepped down from his role as general manager of Marcliffe Hotel and Spa in Aberdeen after less than six months in the role.
The former general manager of Fonab Castle Hotel and Spa in Pitlochry joined the country hotel in September 2024, having previously worked at Marcliffe as assistant general manager from 2005 to 2009. He also got married at the hotel.
A spokesperson for Balmoral Group confirmed: “Through mutual agreement, Peter Walker is no longer in the position of general manager.
“Kellie Rixon, who has been leading our systems integration and staff development programmes, will step into the role of interim general manager, overseeing operations during this transformative period.”
Rixon has worked for De Vere Group and was also brand director at Macdonald Hotels and Resorts.
