Paulo De Tarso has joined the restaurant group behind Michelin-starred Jamavar as head of hospitality.
LSL Capital was founded by father and daughter team Dinesh and Samyukta Nair and runs a portfolio of Mayfair-based sites including Bombay Bustle, MiMi Mei Fair, Koyn and Socca, which it launched this year in partnership with chef Claude Bosi.
De Tarso will start his role at Koyn, the izakaya-style Japanese restaurant on Grosvenor Street, before working across the wider portfolio.
The maitre d’ spent three years working at Scotts Mayfair before opening Bar Boulud with Daniel Boulud at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park. In 2016, he launched the Margot restaurant in Covent Garden but stepped away from the project in 2020.
