Paulo De Tarso has left his role as head of hospitality at LSL Capital after three months to focus on an upcoming “passion project”.
LSL Capital was founded by father and daughter team Dinesh and Samyukta Nair and runs a portfolio of Mayfair-based sites including Bombay Bustle, MiMi Mei Fair, Koyn and Socca, which was launched last year in partnership with chef Claude Bosi.
De Tarso started his role at Koyn, the izakaya-style Japanese restaurant on Grosvenor Street, last October and had intended to spread his work across the wider portfolio.
Following his departure, De Tarso, the founder of Margot restaurant in London's Covent Garden, will launch a digital arm under Paulo De Tarso Hospitality.
He said: “The hospitality sector is evolving, as are all elements within it. Digital media and production has become such a big part of hospitality and the way we as operators communicate with clientele.
“I can’t wait to share with you the exciting projects the team and I have been working on at Paulo De Tarso Hospitality in early 2024.”
