She will oversee the opening of Miiro hospitality group’s first London hotel.
Nicola James has been named general manager at Templeton Garden in London’s Earl’s Court ahead of the hotel’s April opening.
The 156-bedroom Templeton Garden will mark the first London property from new lifestyle group Miiro, which launched hotels in Paris, Barcelona and Gstaad in 2024.
James has 26 years’ experience in the industry and joins from the Holmes hotel in London’s Marylebone, where she was general manager. Prior to that, she was deputy general manager at Charlotte Street hotel in London’s Fitzrovia and Covent Garden hotel.
She said: “I am thrilled to be joining the Miiro team at a time of expansion for the brand, what we have at Templeton Garden is an incredibly unique space in London. I am honoured to be here from the very beginning, to be building a passionate team and to be playing a part in shaping the property’s future.”
Once open, Templeton Garden will be home to a café-meets-deli, a modern British restaurant, cocktail bar and Refresh Room, a Miiro signature.
Miiro is led by chief executive Neena Gupta, who was previously executive director of group strategy and international hospitality at InterGlobe Enterprises, Miiro’s owner.
