A look at the latest restaurants, hotels, pubs and bars to open their doors
Timmy Green
Timmy Green is an Australian all-day restaurant and bar launched by the founders of London's Daisy Green. It's the first restaurant to launch at the new Land Securities development, Nova, in London's Victoria.
The restaurant serves small plates to share and prime steaks cooked on a Josper charcoal grill. It is set over two floors with an outdoor lounge area and alfresco coffee bar. Original artworks and sculptures include commissions from British artists Louise Dear, Shuby and Nancy Wood, as well as a giant egg by pop artist Sir Peter Blake. There is also an Instagram printer to allow guests to print and share their memories instantly.
Organic and natural wines feature on the Australian-influenced wine menu and nine brass beer taps provide a changing selection. The restaurant is named after founder Prue's late brother, an Aussie cowboy who lived and worked on the stations in the Northern Territory and loved a well-cooked steak.
