Anthony Wright has been appointed executive head chef at the Municipal Hotel Liverpool – MGallery.
Wright will oversee the all-day diner Palm Court, brasserie-style restaurant Seaforth and the Botanic Tearoom at the Accor group property, which opened in May this year.
He has over 23 years’ experience in the industry and has won numerous accolades for his cooking.
Wright was most recently at L20 Restaurant in Liverpool, where he was based for 10 years. He was made head chef there in 2016.
He said: “It is a fantastic opportunity to be joining the Municipal Hotel Liverpool – MGallery as its executive chef. It is a truly beautiful place and my mission is to ensure guests who dine with us have the most memorable experience and want to come back for more. I’m looking forward to working with the team and serving exceptional food.”
His appointment comes after Annie Brown was named general manager of the hotel last month.
The Municipal Hotel Liverpool – MGallery is managed by hotel management company RBH Hospitality Management.
