Miiro, a new lifestyle hotel brand, is set to open its first UK property in London in 2025.
Templeton Garden will be a 156-room hotel with a café-style deli, restaurant, bar and garden in London’s Earl’s Court.
Miiro currently has five hotel openings in the pipeline over the next two years. The group plans to open properties in Paris and Barcelona this summer, followed by London and Vienna next year.
The company is led by chief executive Neena Gupta, who was previously executive director of group strategy and international hospitality at InterGlobe Enterprises, which owns Miiro.
She is joined by Martin Quinn, head of investment strategy in Europe; James Hurst, head of projects, design and construction – Europe; Milad Badri, chief experience officer; Ashleigh Lasry, director of marketing; Paula Cogan, head of sales; Simon Maguire, head of learning and development and Mark Holland, asset manager – Europe.
The team (pictured) bring experience from the likes of IHG, the Standard, Firmdale Hotels and Luxury Family Hotels.
Gupta said: “In my experience working with some of the world’s biggest travel and hospitality companies, it is ultimately the people behind the brand that is the key to its success. When developing the Miiro team, I spent over five years sourcing the right industry-leading talent, with varied experiences but making sure that they also embody our shared values and positive company culture. This will be fundamental to the making of Miiro.
“Each with impressive experience working with renowned global hospitality brands, and with an unwavering commitment to the Miiro ethos of creating Brilliantly Considered Stays, I’m confident that together we will set a new benchmark for the industry again."
