The restaurant thanked its guests for their "generous patronage" over the years
The Michelin-starred the Five Fields restaurant in Chelsea is to permanently close this week after 12 years of trading.
The restaurant was opened by chef Taylor Bonnyman in 2013 and has won numerous awards, including four AA rosettes and being named ‘Best Gastronomic Experience’ by the Harden’s Guide.
A post on the restaurant’s Instagram read: “It is with heavy hearts that after more than 12 years we will be closing our doors with the last service this Friday 28 February.
“We are incredibly grateful to all of our guests for their generous patronage and support over the years, as well as to our dedicated suppliers who have provided us with the finest ingredients and support.
“Most importantly, we would like to express our profound gratitude and appreciation to our exceptional team members, past and present, who have always been the driving force behind our successes.
“We are truly honoured to have been part of the hospitality community for the last dozen years and look forward to future projects.”
The Five Fields serves a modern British menu including a £170 tasting menu, £80 set menu and £120 lunch offer.
Its Michelin Guide listing said the restaurant “has built up a loyal local following, thanks to its warm, comfortable feel and engaging team”.
Five Fields is the latest in a string of long-running London restaurants to close their doors this year, following Locanda Locatelli in Marylebone and Santini in Belgravia.
