Martin MacPhail named as managing director of 7H

Martin MacPhail has been named managing director of hotel management company 7H.

MacPhail, who won People Manager of the Year at the 2023 Hotel Cateys, takes on the position from his role as HR director at RBH Hospitality Management, where he spent more than 14 years.

MacPhail will use his experience of building high-performing teams to lead 7H into its next phase of strategic growth as MD.

The company has a variety of properties in its portfolio, including Thornbury Castle in Bristol, the Glasgow Grosvenor hotel and Killochan Castle in Ayrshire.
