The list recognises 50 influential chefs from across the hospitality industry
Maldon Salt has unveiled a ’Power List’ of 50 of the country’s most influential and established chefs. The producer of hand-harvested sea salt flakes has compiled a who’s who of leading lights in the world of hospitality, featuring luminaries gathered from sectors across the industry.
The list was chosen by a panel of industry experts, including individuals from Maldon Salt, the Craft Guild of Chefs and the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts. The list is classified in five categories:
The Innovators
The chefs at the top of their game with the awards and accolades to prove it.
The Next Generation
The ones to watch – chefs on the cusp of breaking through.
The Educators
The individuals that put everything into developing the chefs of tomorrow.
The Influencers
The chef influencers and social media sensations who don’t necessarily wear whites every day.
The Establishments
The chefs, caterers, bartenders and front of house operators working in some of Britain’s most celebrated establishments.
Each of the 2024 members of the Maldon Salt 50 will receive a presentation box featuring an embossed golden pin badge, Champagne, a commemorative magazine and the company’s garlic and chilli flavoured salts.
Maldon Salt owner Steve Osborne said: “For a long time, we’ve known that these culinary leaders choose Maldon Salt to elevate every flavour. It’s high time we celebrated that, while shining a bright spotlight on their many achievements and accolades. We can’t wait to unveil the 2024 list.”
