A group of Italian entrepreneurs are to open what they claim is the UK’s biggest ever kebab house on London’s Oxford Circus this month.
Kebhouze, which was founded in Milan in 2021 and now runs 24 sites across Italy and Spain, will launch its debut UK restaurant on 21 December.
The three-storey site will offer arcade games, table football and a menu including kebab wraps, burgers, and bowls.
British artist Philip Colbert, aka the Lobster, has created a seven-metre-long art installation that will stretch across the second floor.
Kebhouze offer four types of kebab meats: chicken, veal and turkey, beef, and a pea protein-based vegan alternative.
“When it comes to the UK, you either go big or you go home,” said Oliver Zon, general manager at Kebhouze.
“We of course decided to do one better than that and go for the biggest, opening the nation’s largest ever kebab house.”
Kebhouze is also developing its own video game starring its mascot, Keb, which will be released at the start of next year.
