The 65,000 sq ft site will include a rooftop bar, music venue, events space and a 78-bedroom House of Gods hotel.
Specialist leisure, lifestyle and entertainment investor Imbiba is set to open a 65,000 sq ft hotel, restaurant and music venue in London’s Canary Wharf next year.
The site is located at 12 Bank Street near Eden Dock and will consist of a 78-bedroom House of Gods hotel, an Amazing Grace music venue, a rooftop bar and an events space operated by Camm & Hooper.
The House of Gods brand was founded by brothers Mike and Ross Baxter, with the pair opening their first property in Edinburgh (pictured) in 2019.
Meanwhile, events management company Camm & Hooper operates sites such as Tanner Warehouse in London’s Bermondsey, Jeru Mayfair, Platform Glasgow and 26 Leake Street in London’s Waterloo.
CWG (Canary Wharf Group) said it has seen a 7.5% uplift in visitors compared to 2023 and currently oversees over 80 bars, cafes and restaurants in the area.
Stuart Fyfe, managing director of retail, leisure and hospitality at CWG, said: “Imbiba will deliver a spectacular new 65,000 sq ft hospitality and leisure venue at Canary Wharf. Their line-up of world class brands will further enrich the provision of evening entertainment, provide event venues, and bring another hotel to the Wharf.”
Kieran Sherlock, partner and property director at Imbiba, added: “Imbiba has a long-standing and very successful partnership with CWG, which this investment seeks to build on further. Canary Wharf is becoming a world-class destination for hospitality and leisure.”
Imbiba’s portfolio includes the likes of Farmer J, Pizza Pilgrims, F1 Arcade, 1Rebel, Little Houses Group, Clays, and House of Gods.
