The chef will be offering a 16-course menu at Hrishi’s Table.
Hrishikesh Desai will be adding a chef’s table offering at Farlam Hall in Cumbria, where he is chef patron.
Desai, who was named Hotel Chef of the Year (Fewer than 250 Covers) at the 2021 Hotel Cateys while executive chef of the Gilpin Hotel & Lake House in the Lake District, announced his move to Farlam Hall in 2023.
The Cedar Tree by Hrishikesh Desai was awarded a Michelin star earlier this year, while the hotel also achieved a Michelin Key at the ceremony held at London’s Somerset House last week.
Now, the chef has embarked on launching Hrishi’s Table in the autumn, which will offer an intimate private dining experience for up to 10 guests.
The 16-course menu will showcase ingredients sourced from Farlam’s kitchen garden, paired to a selection of wines chosen by the in-house sommelier.
Guests will also be given the option to add a residential element to their meal.
Farlam Hall is a country house hotel featuring 12 bedrooms and six suites. It is part of the Relais & Chateaux collection, as well as being part of PoB hotels.
