Tony Leck, chef-owner of the Pavilion Restaurant, has announced he will be moving his Guernsey brasserie from Rue du Gron to the St Pierre Park hotel.
The opening of the Pavilion at the Park will coincide with this year's October Tenner Fest on the site of what was the Renoir Restaurant.
The Michelin Bib Gourmand award winner is also overseeing a complete refurbishment of the restaurant and kitchens. "I'm in the process of putting the Pavilion mark on the new premises. It will be the same style, same menu, with the usual friendly staff and surroundings. I'm looking forward to welcoming old and new customers early next month once we've completed the interior and exterior refurbishment," Leck said.
The new restaurant will cater for 120 diners inside and 70 alfresco, making it larger than the current Pavilion.
Dina Le Lacheur, general manager of St Pierre Park hotel, said: "We are delighted Tony has decided to bring the Pavilion to St Pierre Park. His dishes will no doubt continue to attract his loyal clientele.
"However, the real benefits will be for our visitors. Having an award-winning restaurant on site will continue to enhance our growing reputation."
