The Goring’s general manager Stuart Geddes is to join the Lanesborough hotel in London.
Geddes will take on the role of hotel manager at the five-red-AA-star 93-bedroom hotel, which was relaunched after a 19-month renovation in 2015.
He will work alongside Lanesborough managing director Marco Novella, who joined the hotel last year after the departure of Geoffrey Gelardi.
Geddes spent 13 years at the Goring having moved from the Ritz hotel in 2006. He joined as restaurant manager and led the team to win a Hotel Catey for Hotel Restaurant Team of the Year in 2012.
He became hotel manager of the 69-bedroom venue in 2014 before being promoted to general manager last year.
