The new 172-bedroom Hilton Bournemouth hotel, which is set to open in December, has announced its senior management team.
Cedric Horgnies will lead the team as general manager at the hotel, which has already confirmed that chef-restaurateur Matt Tebbutt will oversee the property's Schpoons & Forx restaurant and Sky Bar Level8ight.
He will be joined by Calum Manekshaw, director of operations, and Rachel Smith, director of sales.
During his 20 years' working in the hospitality industry, Horgnies has worked at 11 hotels within Hilton Worldwide, most recently as director of operations at Hilton London Gatwick Airport. Stints abroad include time in Belgium, Madagascar and China.
Manekshaw joined the hotel from his previous role as deputy hotel manager at Hilton Edinburgh Airport hotel, while Smith has arrived from InterContinental Hotels Group, where she was director of sales for four Holiday Inn properties on the south coast.
Horgnies said: "Bournemouth is a fantastic place to live for leisure, social and career opportunities, which makes Hilton the ideal addition to this vibrant town. The team we are building here to launch the hotel will be pivotal to its success and I am delighted to lead this force. We have a superb mix of personality, skill and experience which, combined, I have no doubt will ensure the hotel launches to a flying start."
Hilton Bournemouth is part of a dual hotel development alongside the 120-bedroom Hampton by Hilton, which opened in May.
In addition to the restaurant and bar, the property will feature the Eforea spa and a ballroom for up to 300 guests.
Hilton Bournemouth will carry the Hilton Hotels & Resorts moniker, one of 12 brands from Hilton Worldwide.
