A restaurant launched by the founder of Livebait and the Real Greek has closed, after creditors of the company met this week to decide on whether or not it should be wound up.
A notice from enforcement firm Penham Excel has been posted in the window of the restaurant stating that it has re-entered the property on behalf of the landlord.
Livebait and the Real Greek founder Theodore Kyriakou launched the Greek Larder in London's King's Cross in 2014.
But he announced in March this year that he would be moving on from the Real Greek at the end of that month "to let new plans evolve".
In a post on Instagram, he said: "I genuinely did not think that I will be sharing this message, so to all of our team, a big thank you for all your hard work and to all of our guests thank you so much for your continuing support.
He added: "The Greek Larder will continue with a new team."
However, a diner on TripAdvisor who claimed to have pre-paid £120 for a table reported a week ago that the restaurant had shut its doors, with a sign in the window saying it had closed "for maintenance".
Meanwhile, it has emerged that creditors of Kassandra Limited were due to meet this week to consider a resolution to wind up the company.
Kyriakou declined to make any further comment.
Kyriakou previously launched Livebait in 1995 and the Real Greek in 1999. He and fellow Real Greek co-founders Paloma Cambell and Mark Yates sold the brand to Clapham House Group in 2004 when it had three sites.
