The Caterer will be at the award ceremony and have a full rundown of the key winners.
Michelin is to present its first batch of key awards to hotels in the UK and Ireland today.
The awards, which are the hotel equivalent of a Michelin star, will be announced at a ceremony at Somerset House in London this morning.
Keep an eye on thecaterer.com for a full rundown of the new keys after they are revealed.
Michelin announced the launch of the key rating in 2023 and has awarded them to hotels in Japan, Italy, Spain, France and the US this year.
Similar to Michelin stars, the key is a three-tiered award designed to highlight the best places to stay across the globe. Hotels can be rated as one key (a special place to stay), two keys (an exceptional stay) or three keys (an extraordinary stay).
The Caterer previously spoke to hoteliers about what the Michelin key award could mean for UK hotels.
