Former members of London-based bar and restaurant operator the Ignite Group have taken over Fulham pub the Goat in Boots.
Partners Tim Cunliffe, Steve and Katia Manktelow will refurbish the pub and reopen it in April.
Designers Finch Interiors have been briefed to transform the traditional three-storey building on the Fulham Road into an informal restaurant, cocktail bar and all-day lounge.
The restaurant will offer a menu inspired by New York-Italian dishes, with head chef Marco Muselli, who previously worked at Mirabelle, Malmaison and Alba, in charge of the kitchen.
Typical dishes will include innovative wood-fired pizzas, steaks and lobster from the grill, as well as salads and a classic New York cheesecake or Italian ice cream for dessert.
