Dumbleton Hall, a historic country house hotel in Gloucestershire, has been brought to market for offers over £6m.
Colliers is acting on behalf of the owner, the Post Office Fellowship of Remembrance (POFR), which is seeking offers for the freehold of the three-AA-starred, 38-bedroom hotel with nearly 16 acres of parkland. The house dates from the mid-1880s and also has its own restaurant.
Peter Brunt, director of Hotels Agency at Colliers International, said it was “the most significant single asset hotel opportunity to become available in the Cotswolds for a generation”.
Julian Troup, head of hotels agency at Colliers, added: “We have been successful in generating strong competition for similar hotels in a number of locations over the last 18 months through the strength of Colliers’ hotel teams here in the UK and across the globe and I am sure that Dumbleton Hall will appeal greatly to buyers seeking an already established and successful business that has scope to grow significantly.”
