The new restaurant will feature outdoor seating and offer a breakfast menu
Claude and Lucy Bosi will open a second outpost of their French brasserie Josephine in London’s Marylebone on 24 April.
The husband-and-wife team have taken over the space that was previously home to Daylesford Organic on Blandford Street in Marylebone.
It comes two years after the launch of the original Josephine on Fulham Road in Chelsea in 2023. Based on the traditional bouchons found in Claude’s hometown of Lyon, it won a Bib Gourmand in the 2025 Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland.
The new restaurant is more heavily inspired by grand Parisian brasseries and will offer an all-day menu of French classics.
This will include a new breakfast offering, including buttery viennoiseries; bircher muesli with apple and pomegranate; and a croque monsieur.
Starters will include soufflé au camembert while the wider menu will feature an abundance of seafood, including freshly shucked oysters.
Mains of filet de boeuf and poulet aux morilles will be served with indulgent sauces, while a Cordon Bleu will be coated in crisp golden breadcrumbs.
All dishes will be offered alongside a dedicated PDT (Pommes de Terre) menu celebrating potatoes, ranging from silky pomme purée and frites to a gratin dauphinois.
Desserts are set to include favourites including rhum baba; soufflé glacé au grand marnier; and a rich mousse au chocolat to share.
Josephine Marylebone will also feature a 16-cover outdoor dining area, opening in time for dining in the spring sunshine.
Claude and Lucy Bosi said: “With Josephine Chelsea, we had the pleasure of getting to know the locals while celebrating the rich, comforting flavors of Lyon. Now, with Josephine Marylebone, we hope to do the same. Our vision is to create a space that exudes warmth and conviviality, where every detail - from the menu to the ambiance - reflects our appreciation for authentic French hospitality."
Claude is also behind two-Michelin-starred Bibendum in Chelsea, two-Michelin-starred Brooklands at the Peninsula London.
He previously ran French bistro Socca in Mayfair with Samyukta Nair, but it closed in 2024 after two years.
