Craft coffee and all-day dining brand Caravan is to open a flagship restaurant later this year in London’s Covent Garden.
It will be housed in the Grainhouse on Drury Lane, a former grain and seed store, marking the group’s eighth and largest site to date.
Caravan will also be the first food and beverage operator at the European headquarters for Hines, a global real estate property manager, which acquired Grainhouse in 2020.
The restaurant will span over two floors and feature a wrap-around terrace, a panoramic shopfront and Caravan’s biggest private hire and events space, the Green Room.
It will be open from morning to night, offering signature dishes such as jalapeno cornbread, steamed cod dumplings, and crisp chilli salt tofu.
Laura Harper Hinton, co-founder and chief executive of Caravan, said: “We are thrilled to be heading to Covent Garden to share our passion for craft coffee, well-travelled food and memorable experiences in a new part of the city.
"Thirteen years after opening our first restaurant in Exmouth Market, we still strive to be a source of new, exciting flavours, fresh ideas, and authentic, friendly experiences.”
