Bespoke Hotels to manage the Cube hotel in Birmingham

The UK's largest independent hotel group, Bespoke Hotels, has been appointed to manage the Cube Hotel in Birmingham.

It comes after the 52-bedroom property, which previously traded under the Hotel Indigo brand, was sold to the Caskade Group off a listed price of £12.5m.

Bespoke has been appointed to manage the hotel on behalf of MSHA Global Investments Ltd, which is part of Caskade Group.

The company has been overseeing the day-to-day running of the hotel, as well as continuing trade at the Marco Pierre White-branded restaurant on the 25th floor.

Thomas Greenall, chief executive officer at Bespoke Hotels, said: "We're delighted to welcome the Cube Hotel, Birmingham into the Bespoke family. It's an iconic hotel in the heart of the country's second largest city and offers a fantastic experience for all guests.

"This is very much a ‘business as usual' takeover, with the current team at the hotel continuing their day-to-day roles unaffected. We are excited at the prospect of building on the hotel's previous success and to help the destination venue reach new heights."

Bespoke's portfolio now covers almost 90 hotels, over 5,000 rooms and more than 6,000 staff.

Last month, it also acquired Scotland's McMillan hotel group for an undisclosed sum.

MSHA Global Investments is managed by Hamid Ali and is a leading global franchisee of Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and KFC.
