Admiral Taverns is the latest pub group to confirm a number of its sites are up for sale.
The group, which runs around 1,600 pubs across the UK, has put a total of 44 venues on the market.
A spokesperson for Admiral Taverns confirmed the sites had not been put up for sale as a single package.
"As usual with our business, we have individual pubs for sale as we continue developing our estate into long-term sustainable pubs,” the spokesperson added.
Rival pub chains have also looked to offload sites over the last few months. Stonegate, the UK’s largest pub company, reportedly put around 1,000 venues up for sale in January for a reported £800m.
Marston’s, which operates over 1,400 pubs, confirmed in March that 61 of its sites were on the market.
JD Wetherspoon was looking to sell around 45 pubs at the end of last year. The group’s chairman Tim Martin warned pubs face “ferocious” inflationary pressures around energy, food and staffing and a struggle to attract back customers who became used to buying cheap supermarket beer during lockdown.
