While most castles are military and defensive in nature, Leeds, throughout her 900-year history, has been used as a luxurious retreat, a place for entertainment, feasting and relaxation.
In the 21st century Leeds Castle has become one of the most visited historic buildings in Britain. We welcome around 450,000 day visitors and were up to 620,000 pre pandemic; along with around 150 functions, conferences & weddings and a thriving accommodation business.
The hospitality experiences that we offer to our guests are absolutely central to our aims. Our ambition is to become the South’s top heritage destination for relaxation, hospitality and experiences that surprise and delight.
As we emerge from the pandemic we are now embarking on a process to explore our options for managing day, event and accommodation guest catering. We are looking for best in class specialists with ambition.
We would particularly welcome expressions of interest from regional and local suppliers for both the event catering and day visitor operation, but encourage all interested parties to get in touch.
