From fireside chats to product demos, HRC has something for everybody
The hospitality and foodservice sector will soon reunite at HRC, taking place on 17-19 March at Excel London. The UK’s leading hospitality and foodservice event, HRC is the ultimate destination for hoteliers, restaurateurs, and caterers to discover the latest products, services, and innovations.
HRC takes place alongside IFE Manufacturing, IFE, the Pub Show, and International Salon Culinaire as part of Food, Drink & Hospitality Week, an unparalleled opportunity for hospitality and foodservice professionals to immerse themselves in the world of food & drink and gain invaluable insights to grow their businesses.
Here are five reasons why you should not miss HRC 2025:
On the show’s Vision Stage, in partnership with Future Menus and designed by Harp Design, visitors will have the chance to hear from chefs such as Jason Howard, executive chef and owner of Flava Pepper, Adejoké Bakare, founder and head chef of Michelin-starred Chishuru, and Daniel Galmiche, chef and author.
Topics covered on the stage will include financial sustainability in foodservice, making the most out of seasonal events, immersive hospitality experiences and authenticity beyond the plate.
Plus, the Burnt Chef Project will be hosting two in-depth fireside discussions. Founder Kris Hall will be talking to chef Jon Watts about his journey from prison to working alongside Jamie Oliver, while Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown will be discussing resilience and navigating mental health challenges in hospitality.
HRC features five key show sections, each offering tailored insights and supplier connections. The Foodservice section will feature exhibitors such as Alsop & Walker, DiSanto & Family, Ferrero Foodservice, Gressingham, Jude’s, Kepak and La Tua Pasta, offering a wide array of high-quality products.
In the Hospitality Tech section, attendees can explore innovative solutions from 365 Retail Markets, Workforce.com, Tevalis, Predictive Insights, Planday Ltd, and PointOne POS, enhancing efficiency and customer experience.
The Professional Kitchen area is one of the highlights of the event, with leading suppliers such as Electrolux Professional, Hoshizaki UK, Liebherr Refrigeration, Meiko UK Limited, Pentland Wholesale, Rational UK, Retigo and UNOX showcasing the latest kitchen technologies and equipment.
The Furniture, Interiors & Tableware section will feature bespoke seating and stylish design solutions from Arasta, Craftwood Interiors Ltd, Humble, Kylemark Workwear, Lumea, Principal Contract Furniture, Typhoon, and more, helping businesses elevate their ambiance and guest experience.
New for 2025, the Pizza & Pasta section will showcase the latest equipment and ingredients from top suppliers, highlighting innovations in this vital sector of the global food industry.
Technology is a hugely important part of successful hospitality, and the TechX stage returns for 2025 with insightful sessions covering AI in hospitality, tech’s role in allergen management, how to cultivate customer loyalty, and much more. The TechX programme has been curated in partnership with Tech on Toast and Peach.
Chris Fletcher of Tech on Toast says: “Tech on Toast is excited to join HRC’s seminar programme, bringing our expertise in hospitality technology to the forefront. We’re committed to supporting operators in navigating the evolving tech landscape and look forward to engaging with industry leaders at the event.”
A popular returning feature at HRC will be Chef HQ, curated by Chef Publishing, a stage, demo kitchen, and networking area. In 2024, it featured a live demo from celebrity chef Glynn Purnell, a session with HRC Chef Ambassador Lisa Goodwin-Allen, and 2023 Young National Chef of the Year Sam Dixon, as well as a conversation with Great British Menu contestant Adam Smith.
A highlight of the previous edition was an ‘in conversation’ session with industry legend Pierre Koffmann, reflecting on his career spanning over 55 years.
In 2025, HRC will celebrate an incredible 90 years of bringing together the best in hospitality, foodservice and innovation. Over the past nine decades, HRC has evolved into the UK’s leading event for the hospitality industry, showcasing cutting-edge products, services and trends while fostering invaluable connections within the sector.
As the event marks this significant milestone, attendees can expect a special programme reflecting on HRC’s rich history and its pivotal role in shaping the future of food, drink and hospitality. This anniversary celebration underscores the event’s long-standing commitment to supporting the growth and development of the hospitality industry, and it promises to be a memorable moment for all involved.
