The City of Wolverhampton Council are inviting expressions of interest for the operation of Glaze, the eating space at Wolverhampton Art Gallery. Located in the heart of the city centre, the Eating Space was created in 2022 and provides the opportunity to cater for gallery visitors, weddings and events with the potential for later opening and private functions in the evening, to compliment the night-time activities within the city.
The eating space has an established reputation with a loyal customer base and seating for up to 84 people. Located in an enviable location in a free to enter historic art gallery, adjacent to St Peters Gardens, the eating space is frequented by both city centre and gallery visitors.
Wolverhampton Art Gallery is an accredited museum and gallery, owned and operated by City of Wolverhampton Council and funded by Arts Council England as a National Portfolio Organisation. Situated in the heart of the cultural quarter, adjacent to the university and just five minutes walk from the railway station, Metro and bus station, Wolverhampton Art Gallery annually welcomes 75,000 visitors and boasts the largest collection of Pop Art in the country (outside London) including paintings by Peter Blake, Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol.
