Seren Collection promotes Alice Bussi to group food and beverage manager

Alice Bussi has been promoted to group food and beverage manager of the Seren Collection of properties in South Wales as part of a raft of new managerial appointments

In her new role, she will oversee the food and beverage operations at the Grove of Narberth hotel, Coast restaurant in Saundersfoot and the Beach House in the Gower.

Bussi launched the Beach House restaurant with chef Hywel Griffith in 2016, having joined the group from the Bath Priory hotel.

In her newly created role she will be responsible for operational delivery and guest experience across the group's restaurants and cafés, and will report to managing director Neil Kedward.

The group has also promoted Oliver Crittenden to the newly created role of group human resources manager from his role as reception and reservations manager at the Grove of Narberth; while Karen Weisheit has been promoted to head of reception and reservations from her role as a senior manager at Coast.

Katherine Morgant has been appointed restaurant manager at the Beach House, replacing Bussi, joining from Holbeck Ghyll in the Lake District. Alexandra Marcher, joins the Beach House as head sommelier following a year as a sommelier at the Bath Priory; and Rhianna Chilton has been appointed assistant restaurant manager at Coast, from her previous role as assistant manager at Rafters restaurant in Sheffield.

The group is also in the process of finding a new head chef for Coast restaurant, in light of the upcoming departure of Will Holland.

Neil Kedward said: "As a business we love change and people developing and so it comes as no surprise that our teams keep evolving. This is a big step for the group strengthening our ability to support our businesses from the centre whilst significantly bolstering the management teams in each of our businesses."
