Daisy Green Collection is to relocate its Ziggy Green restaurant in London’s Mayfair to a larger site this year.
The final service at the current 1 Heddon Street site will be 31 August, before the restaurant moves across the road to 4 Heddon Street.
Ziggy Green serves brunch and Mexican-style tacos and is named after David Bowie’s album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, which features an edited image of Heddon Street on the cover.
Daisy Green Collection said the new, larger space will offer alfresco dining and “showcase different facets of David Bowie’s life and work alongside fabulous late-night cocktails and a brand new Sydney-inspired menu”.
It is expected to open before Q3 of this year following a major refurbishment.
Australian-inspired Daisy Green Collection was founded by Prue Freeman and Tom Onions in 2012 and has since expanded to 15 London sites, including bars, restaurants, two floating boat diners and a coffee van.
