Independent caterer Wilson Vale has reported a turnover increase of 14.7% to break the £25m mark for the first time, and profit before tax of over £2m for the year ending 31 December 2016.
Celebrating its 15th year in business this year, it is forecasting an annual turnover of £27m for 2017.
With a portfolio of 95 clients, employing 720 staff nationwide, its latest contract was a three-year contract extension to provide catering services to the 650 staff at InterContinental Hotels Group's (IHG) UK corporate headquarters in Denham, Buckinghamshire. The caterers have provided IHG with catering services at its Burton-upon-Trent offices since 2002.
