Former Elior MD joins Compass as business director

The former managing director at the Elior-owned care caterer Caterplus has been named business director at White Oaks, the senior living division of Compass Group UK & Ireland.

Laura Tighe has over 25 years’ experience within foodservice, having worked at Elior for 19 of those years. For the past seven years, she has also specialised in the healthcare and senior living sectors.

Her appointment coincides with the relaunch of White Oaks, which offers everything from catering to facilities management in the residential, nursing homes, assisted living and retirement living industries.

The business has committed to reaching climate net zero by 2030 and creating a people culture that enables staff to provide the best possible service for residents.

Tighe is also supported by Helen Ream in her role as dietitian and Lee Newton as business development director.
