Contract caterer Wilson Vale has announced the promotion of Renier Oberholzer to general manager of operations tasked with supporting the contract caterer's growth.
The operational role will see Oberholzer work alongside three other Wilson Vale general managers who lead their operational teams across 95 catering sites.
He said: "My new role is far reaching, encompassing everything from project management and facilities to training and development, succession planning and resource planning, as well as managing the logistics of a multi-restaurant catering operation, driving quality standards and keeping our teams motivated and fulfilled and clients happy."
Oberholzer joined the independent caterer in 2015 as a chef manager, and was promoted to account operations at the Royal College of Nursing in April 2017.
Carolyne Vale, co-founder of Wilson Vale said: "We have watched Renier's leadership and business skills grow since joining us three years ago. He has met every challenge and proved himself to be a well-respected, goal orientated manager with solid people management experience, impeccable standards and a great knowledge of food."
Established in 2002 by Andrew Wilson and Carolyne Vale, the Leicestershire-based company specialises in catering within business and industry, independent schools and the conference venue sector, with a projected annual turnover of £33m for 2018
