Andrew Nicholson and Sarah Graham-Harrison, formerly general manager and deputy manager, respectively, of Linthwaite House hotel at Lake Windermere in the Lake District, have joined Storrs Hall hotel.
They will undertake the roles of general manager and deputy general manager, respectively, at the 30-bedroom, four-AA-silver-starred Georgian property across the lake. The hotel joined the Bespoke Hotels collection last year.
Nicholson comes from a culinary background, having begun his career in hospitality as a commis chef, progressing to head chef at the Devonshire Arms in Yorkshire. He subsequently made the move to manage the four-red-AA-starred Linthwaite House eight years ago.
He said: "I am delighted to have joined the team at Storrs Hall. It is a property of unrivalled beauty and potential within the North West, and I am relishing the chance to put my stamp on it."
Graham-Harrison has worked in various management roles at hotels across the country prior to her tenure at Linthwaite House, including Yorkshire's Devonshire Arms, the Chester Grosvenor, and the Holbeck Ghyll hotel in Cumbria.
Thomas Greenall, commercial director for Bespoke Hotels, said: "Having been appointed to oversee Storrs Hall last year, both the owners and ourselves were extremely keen to secure Andrew and Sarah's services. Both are held in extremely high regard within the area, and rightly so, given their outstanding track records across the Lake District and beyond."
Owner Mark Hindle added: "We are delighted Andrew and Sarah have chosen to join the team at Storrs Hall. The property has been in my family for almost 20 years, during which time we have consistently invested in both the building and personnel on site. We look forward to both the experience and creativity Andrew and Sarah will bring, which will undoubtedly help us fulfil our goal of becoming the premier destination in the area."
