The 200-bedroom Radisson Blu in Liverpool and the 279-bedroom Hilton Manchester Deansgate have been sold, one month after their owner, the Beetham Group, was placed in administration.
Both properties have been bought by London-based Cypriot businessman Loucas Louca, who set up two new property companies - Blue Liverpool and Blue Manchester - to make the purchases from the administrator, KPMG.
The hotels will continue to operate through management agreements with Rezidor in Liverpool and Hilton Worldwide in Manchester. The sale of the hotels was handled by CBRE Hotels.
