The Master Innholders has revealed the names of 12 hoteliers who have been selected to take part in the Innholder Scholarships programme.

Each hotelier will have the chance to be enrolled on one of three management courses worth over £11,000 in the UK or abroad.

These include the Talent Development Programme or the General Management programme at Cranfield University, UK, or the General Managers Programme at Cornell University in the USA.

James B. Clarke, chair of the Master Innholders, said: “I am incredibly impressed and proud of all our successful applicants for this year’s Innholder Scholarships. Each and every one of them displayed an immense love and passion for our industry, but also an understanding of its challenges and potential ways in which we can overcome them.

“It’s also great to see the variety of different hospitality roles and backgrounds from our winners. While some are general managers of their hotels, many of our winners are also from various other hospitality roles, such as director of rooms, revenue managers, food and drink operations managers, and many more."

The Innholder Scholarships have been funded by the Worshipful Company of Innholders, the Savoy Educational Trust, the Master Innholders Charitable Trust and the Lord Forte Foundation since 1997.

The Master Innholders was founded in 1978.
