Tom Kerridge: 'Using Knorr Professional bouillons in kitchens isn’t about cutting corners'

Tom Kerridge needs no introduction. He’s a chef at the top of his game, with a thriving restaurant business, catering company and successful television career to boot. There’s no doubt that he’s also done incredible things to raise the profile of the hospitality industry in the public consciousness, most recently with his BBC TV series, The Hidden World of Hospitality.

 

His most recent partnership, Creative Director of market-leading bouillon and stock brand Knorr Professional, might surprise his fellow chefs. As a purveyor of scratch cooking, Tom’s menus are known for making the best of seasonal, local produce. But, he explains, that doesn’t mean that stocks and bouillons shouldn’t play a key role.

 

Tom explains: “Knorr Professional Bouillons are incredible products. They allow chefs to create really exciting food that’s delicious and rich in flavour – whilst saving time and cost. Using bouillons in kitchens isn’t about cutting corners. It’s about bringing the best out of the ingredients in a dish, adding an extra dimension to your food and making this food accessible and achievable for chefs of all levels. My goal as Creative Director for Knorr Professional Bouillons is fundamentally to inspire other chefs. To get them excited about putting their own twists on classic dishes and to help them grow and develop their skills and careers.”
