Kuro, a 43% ABV Japanese-inspired London dry gin, has launched in the UK following 18 months of development. Its botanical flavours include bamboo activated charcoal, silver birch, spruce needles, coriander, orange, orris, nutmeg, juniper, angelica, lemon, liquorice and cinnamon.

Charlie's Food Heroes
Norfolk-based chef Charlie Hodson has launched a sauce range called Charlie's Food Heroes, which includes Original Smoky & Sticky BBQ Sauce; Proper Fruity Brown Sauce; and Tangy & Real Tomato Ketchup. For every bottle sold, a donation is made to the YANA project, a charity that promotes the awareness of mental health in farming.

Samfex smart watch
German-based hospitality software developer Mellex AG has launched the Samfex smart watch. Samfex is a back of house, service and maintenance management software solution for hotels to help engineering, housekeeping and guest service teams manage their daily work. The new device runs with Windows 10 IoT Core and will be available from Q3 2017.

Tom of Finland Organic Vodka
Tom of Finland Organic Vodka, a new brand inspired by the Finnish artist and gay icon of the same name, has just launched in the UK. The spirit is crafted in Finland from a blend of organic wheat and rye with no added sugar, and the bold and playful packaging pays tribute to the artist. A percentage of the profit from each bottle will be donated to the Tom of Finland Foundation.

Siren Craft Brew
Craft-beer producer has launched a quartet of beers that showcase the coffee bean. Under the banner Project Barista are Crema (4.9% ABV), a German whiskey barrel-aged coffee white stout; CapHeine (6.2% ABV), a kettle sour beer that contains Kenyan coffee beans; Americano (9.1% ABV), a double IPA using Ethiopian coffee; and Turkish (10% ABV), made with Thai coffee beans and figs.
