Highland distillery Balblair has released a new collection of single-malt Scotch whiskies, matured in American oak casks previously used for aging bourbon. The 12-year-old has notes of dried orange, ground spices and vanilla, and the 25-year-old whisky, further matured in Oloroso Spanish oak, has notes of citrus, chocolate praline, tobacco leaf and blood oranges.
