Great House at Sonning
The Great House at Sonning in Berkshire has reopened following an extensive refurbishment. The boutique hotel has 49 newly renovated rooms and a Coppa Club restaurant and bar set inside a Grade II-listed former Elizabethan coaching inn and surrounding red brick buildings.
The rooms are split into five categories: Cosy, Relaxed, Deluxe, Deluxe River View and Suites, which includes a mixture of suites and family rooms, each with a dedicated ‘Kids Corner' with toys and books. There are also several dog-friendly rooms featuring dog bowls, blankets and treats, while home comforts such as fresh milk and water, radios, flat-screen TVs and Wi-Fi are in every room.
The Great House Lodge, a new, fully equipped events space, will also be opening as part of the relaunch. It comprises five interconnecting rooms and will cater for corporate meetings, weddings and other special occasions.

Brasserie Abode
The first Brasserie Abode in the UK has launched at the Abode Manchester hotel, a relaxed venue in the style of a grand European brasserie and bar. Downstairs, the interior includes electric blue velvet seating, while the ground floor Brasserie Bar features black and white chevron tiles.

Brewhouse & Kitchen Lichfield
Brewhouse & Kitchen has launched its newest site in Lichfield, Staffordshire. The bar boasts its own microbrewery and a dedicated brewer and produces its own range of beers. It also offers craft beers and beer-based food.

Chequers
Brakspear has opened nine new bedrooms at its Chequers pub in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, offering boutique hotel-style accommodation. The rooms have a palette of bright fabrics, geometric tiling and feature wall panelling. Furnishings and fittings include reclaimed timber desks and industrial-style lighting.

Dunalastair hotel
The Dunalastair hotel in Kinloch Rannoch, Perthshire, has opened following a two-year, multi-million pound renovation. Suites have been designed with fabrics and furniture by Phoenix Interior Design. Edina's Kitchen will be at the heart of the hotel, offering a modern fine-dining experience with locally sourced produce selected by head chef Dan Merriman.
