Police are searching for a thief who raided hotel rooms stealing £645 as well as helping himself to breakfast.
Officers have issued a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the burglary, which took place at the Royal Clifton hotel, Southport, at about 6.30am on 21 February, this year.
Inspector Susan Stribling said: "During a two hour period spent inside the hotel, the man has accessed various floors, had the audacity to enjoy his breakfast in the hotel restaurant using the victim's room number and then went on to steal £645 and a number of bank cards from two of the guests' hotel rooms.
"We believe that this man could be travelling around the area and would appreciate anyone with information to come forward so we can stop him from committing any further burglaries."
Anyone with information is asked to call Merseyside Police on 101.
