Theresa Collins named general manager of Glenapp Castle

Theresa Collins has been appointed as general manager of Glenapp Castle in Ayrshire.

She was previously deputy general manager at Cliveden House in Berkshire and also worked at the Royal Horseguards hotel and the Carlton Tower hotel in London and the Crowne Plaza hotel in Abu Dhabi.

Collins also ran two catering businesses and was a former hotel inspector and quality assurance auditor.

Jill Chalmers, managing director of Glenapp Castle, said: “We are thrilled to have Theresa join Glenapp Castle in her role as general manager. Her strong hospitality and food and beverage background are a welcome asset as we look to develop the castle further with our new Azalea restaurant, as well as the plans for additional guest accommodation and the woodland spa.”

Glenapp Castle is a 21-bedroom PoB hotel and Relais & Chateaux hotel that sprawls across 110 acres of gardens, local woodland and a private estate.
