Suffolk Country Inns group has placed two of its country pubs on the market.
Commercial property advisor Christie & Co is offering the freehold interests of the Angel Inn in Stoke by Nayland (pictured), and the Anchor Inn in Nayland for £1,395,000 and £895,000 respectively.
The Grade II-listed Angel Inn comprises a lounge, bar and dining rooms, catering collectively for more than 100 covers. It also has six en-suite double bedrooms served by a separate lobby entrance.
Outside the pub has a garden, offering space for an additional 40 covers, while a detached building to the rear provides owner's accommodation.
The Anchor Inn on the river Stour comprises a main bar and two private first-floor dining rooms as well as a 10-cover riverside dining room, with the capacity for more than 110 covers collectively. A rear decking area with an outside bar can seat 36 covers, while picnic benches by the river provide space for 72 guests.
The pub also offers a second external kitchen and smokehouse with planning permission to extend the restaurant, kitchen and riverside space.
"These highly successful venues are perfect for first-time, independent buyers looking to immerse themselves in rural Suffolk life in the heart of Constable country, or existing operators looking to make a quality addition to their portfolio.
âWith two such properties in a desirable and popular area of the country and its thriving tourism bolstering local leisure and hospitality businesses, we expect a high level of interest and excitement over their introduction to the market.â
