Staff across the Manorview Hotels & Leisure Group have each received an average pay-out of around £200 as part of the company's profit share scheme.
Under the HeartCount Fund scheme, Manorview is committed to allocating 10% of its pre-tax profits to staff. For the year to 31 March 2019, the group achieved a pre-tax profit of £554,440, resulting in a total of £55,344 being paid to qualifying team members.
A total of 281 Manorview staff out of a workforce of more than 500 qualify for the scheme. Employees have to be in continuous employment for 12 months to benefit from the fund.
Details of the fund were announced at the group's HeartCount Day. David Tracey, managing director of the Manorview Group, said the fund is "an integral part of the company culture", which is focused on retaining staff.
"Our HeartCount Day was a celebration for all our teams, to show appreciation for their hard work, commitment and efforts. We want to promote careers in hospitality. Within the industry and beyond, our goal is to be recognised as a great place to work, where people feel appreciated and want to stay."
Founded in 2007, the Manorview Group is made up of eight hotels across the central belt of Scotland, alongside two pubs, two nightclubs, a luxury gym and fitness and leisure club.
