Warwick Hotels & Resorts has appointed Solomon Khaddour general manager of the Capital Hotel & Apartments in London’s Knightsbridge.
Khaddour joins from 11 Cadogan Gardens, where he was general manager for eight years, having also previously worked as operations director at the Cadogan hotel on Sloane Street.
Warwick Hotels & Resorts bought the five-red-AA-star, 49-bedroom in January 2017 from the Levin family and around £2m was spent on improvements at the Capital and its adjacent businesses. The hotel was previously run on a day-to-day basis by general manager Louis Vanheusden, who is also vice-president of Warwick Hotels & Resorts.
Khaddour said: “I am delighted to be joining Warwick Hotels & Resorts as the general manager for the Capital hotel and the Capital Townhouse hotel in Knightsbridge, London; the hotels are prestigious establishments and have a long tradition of providing luxury service and hospitality for all guests. I am truly honored, and I very much look forward to continue enhancing the Capital hotel positioning in the London market to be one of the finest luxury hotels in the capital.”
