Sonawane will be overseeing all F&B at the Doyle Collection property.
Soham Sonawane has been named executive chef of the Bloomsbury in London, a Doyle Collection property.
Sonawane was previously at hotel groups such as Accor, the Dorchester Collection, the Lanesborough, and Hotel Café Royal.
He will be bringing his expertise in sustainability and team development to the Bloomsbury, which has F&B outlets such as the Coral Room, the Dalloway Terrace and the Bloomsbury Club Bar.
Sonawane will also be responsible for devising the breakfast, afternoon tea, restaurant dining, in-room dining and events menus.
Susanne Traudt, general manager of the Bloomsbury, said: “We are delighted to have Soham joining our team at the Bloomsbury. He brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles, and his passion for food will elevate the offering in our wonderful restaurants and bars, taking us to the next level.”
The Doyle Collection was founded by Irish hotelier P. V. Doyle in 1959 and has since expanded to eight properties across London, Dublin and Washington DC.
