Independents by Sodexo has extended its contract with Wellington College in Berkshire for a further ten years.
The contract extension, which is valued at around £80m, covers catering, hospitality, retail and domestic services, such as cleaning, laundry and logistics, for both Wellington College and Eagle House.
Wellington College is a co-educational day and boarding school, founded in 1859 which has 1,200 students aged between 13-years-old and 18-years-old.
Eagle House is a preparatory and pre-preparatory school for 360 students aged between three-years-old and 13-years-old, situated in the grounds of Wellington College.
Sodexo’s 160-strong catering team will continue to provide breakfast and dinner for 1,000 covers and lunch for 1,700 covers.
It will also deliver 600 covers at the multi-purpose V&A Café for Wellington College students, which features a grab-and-go and street food-style offering that was developed by the foodservice giant.
Independents by Sodexo has maintained its partnership with Wellington College for over 60 years and Eagle House for over 25 years.
Sodexo will continue to work with Klimato to improve sustainability initiatives such as carbon labelling on main meals.
